Meet the Sweet as Pie Litter
We are so excited to introduce Lucy and Huxley’s very first litter together! Lucy welcomed eight beautiful Mini Multigen Bernedoodle puppies on September 17, 2026 — three girls and five boys named Cobbler, Cherry, Pumpkin, Crumble, Graham, Peach, Pecan and Apple.
This pairing brings together two wonderful dogs and so many of the qualities we value in our Bernedoodle program. Lucy is incredibly sweet, loving and people-focused, with a playful side that loves running, fetch and spending time with our other dogs. Huxley complements her beautifully with his playful, gentle and respectful nature.
Their puppies are expected to mature around 30–40 pounds with wavy or curly coats. The litter gave us a beautiful variety of chocolate, chocolate parti, chocolate merle parti, red and apricot coloring.
This is Lucy’s first litter, and she has taken to motherhood beautifully. We were so excited to see what these two special dogs would produce together, and we’re looking forward to watching each puppy’s personality emerge as the Sweet as Pie litter grows.

Lucy is sweet, loving and caring beyond measure. More than anything, she simply wants to be with her people. Those are exactly the qualities we love to see in our dogs and hope to pass along to our puppies, which made bringing Lucy into our program such a natural fit.
She also has a wonderfully playful side. Lucy loves to run, play fetch and spend time with our other dogs, but she is just as happy being close to us. The Sweet as Pie litter is Lucy’s first, and her loving, attentive nature has carried beautifully into motherhood.
Huxley
Mini Multigen Bernedoodle · 31 lbs · Chocolate Merle Parti Phantom
Huxley is playful, gentle, kind and wonderfully well behaved. He has an easygoing, respectful nature and a fun-loving personality that makes him a joy to be around.
We love the balance Huxley brings to our Bernedoodle program — playful and engaging while still being gentle and attentive. He and Lucy complement each other beautifully, and we were incredibly excited to bring their qualities together in this pairing.

During their earliest days, our puppies participate in Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI) exercises designed to provide gentle, age-appropriate sensory experiences as they begin developing.
Confidence Building
Curiosity, Confidence + Resilience
We introduce new surfaces, textures, toys, environments and age-appropriate challenges as our puppies grow. These experiences encourage curiosity, problem-solving and confidence while allowing each puppy to explore at their own pace.
Daily Handling
Gentle, Intentional Handling From the Start
Our puppies are handled every day and gradually introduced to having their paws, ears, mouths and bodies touched. We also begin early grooming experiences to help build comfort, trust and confidence with routine care.

Before going home, our puppies are introduced to age-appropriate crate and potty-training foundations. While they won't leave fully trained, these early experiences help make the transition into their new family's routine a little easier.
