Meet Our Mini Bernedoodles
Mini Bernedoodles bring together two breeds we love for very different reasons: the loyal, affectionate nature of the Bernese Mountain Dog and the intelligence, athleticism and low-shedding qualities of the Poodle.
At Desert Ridge Doodles, our Mini Bernedoodles are intentionally bred with family companionship at the forefront. We select our parent dogs for health, structure and temperament, then raise each litter with purposeful socialization from the very beginning.
Our Mini Bernedoodles typically mature around 30–50 pounds, depending on the pairing, giving families much of the personality and presence people love about a Bernedoodle in a more manageable size.
From confident family companions to gentle, people-focused dogs with therapy or service potential, our goal is never simply to produce beautiful puppies. We want to raise dogs with the foundation to become exceptional companions.

What Are Mini Bernedoodles Like?
One of the biggest reasons families fall in love with Bernedoodles is their personality.
Mini Bernedoodles are often affectionate, social and deeply connected to their people. The Bernese Mountain Dog can contribute a gentle, devoted nature, while Poodles bring intelligence, athleticism and an eagerness to engage with their families.
The result can be a wonderfully versatile companion — playful enough for adventures, intelligent enough to enjoy training and affectionate enough to be perfectly content curled up beside you at the end of the day.
Individual personalities vary, which is why we spend so much time observing our puppies as they grow. By seven weeks, we conduct temperament evaluations and combine those observations with what we've learned throughout the puppy's development to help families choose a puppy whose personality complements their lifestyle.

How Big Do Mini Bernedoodles Get?
Our Mini Bernedoodles generally mature between 30 and 50 pounds, although expected adult size varies by litter and individual puppy.
We consider the size of both parents, previous puppies from similar pairings when available, and each puppy's individual growth when estimating adult weight. Because doodles are crossbred dogs, however, adult size cannot be guaranteed precisely.
