Fall Program Updates

Happy Fall! This summer hasn’t flown by, but we’re definitely glad the worst of the heat is behind us. We have a ton of updates for everyone so let’s get into it!

Retired Girls

First on the list, retired moms. I briefly spoke about this on Instagram and have a separate blog post about it but to sum it up, Maple and Willow are retired. We came to this difficult decision a few weeks ago and I’m happy to report that they went to a wonderful home together and are thriving there! Visit our blog post HERE to learn all about why we made this decision and their new digs!

New Moms!

Next up - new moms! We added two new moms to our program and while I only have photos for one, I will go into detail on both and how we plan to integrate them into our program. First is Lucy! Lucy is a Cafe Au Lait Petite Standard Poodle. She’s sweet, sassy, and loves to go for car rides and adventures. She’s currently in the health testing phase and once she passes we will determine if she will go on to produce Bernedoodles or Goldendoodles. We’re so happy to have her and can’t wait to show her how fun life is about to get!

Apricot Standard Poodle Puppy Near A Lake In Arizona

And finally, the girl I teased on my Instagram stories - Cali! Cali comes to us from (you guessed it) California! She’s a Red Standard Poodle and is an absolute joy to have in our home! She’s playful, energetic and has that fun puppy energy we all love. Cali will start health testing soon and if she passes, will be our last female bred to Nash for F1 Goldendoodle puppies in 2026 and 2027. She has a natural athletic ability and if all goes as planned, we will be retaining either a male or female from this pairing to be a future parent in our program. Welcome Cali & Lucy!

Retaining For Our Program

We have been very strategic when planning who to retain for our breeding program. Our house is only so big and we don’t ever want to take on more dogs than we can handle. That being said, we will be officially retaining Fawn for our program! Fawn in a Mini Multigen Bernedoodle by Molly and Huxley (an outside stud). From the beginning Fawn has been a very easy, sweet and smart puppy. She’s well adapted to our lives and will make an excellent mom for our program. We look forward to sharing more of her journey on Instagram and in our blog posts.

Jet Ski, Doe, Raven & Bunny

It wouldn’t be a blog post without updating on some of the puppies we have available! All are started on potty training, crate training, and are well set up for life in their new homes! These girls are sweet, playful and would do great alone or with another doggy friend in the home. If you’ve been curious about these girls and have questions, please email desertridgedoodles@gmail.com and I would be happy to discuss! See them HERE

Gracie & Stella in Heat!

And in the blink of an eye, Gracie and Stella are in heat! This is their third litter, and we are so excited! Stella will be paired with Nash for their classic, teddy-bear like F1 Goldendoodle puppies. I feel like they always get scooped up so quick too, Stella’s waitlist is open now! And for Gracie, we will be pairing her with Huxley. Huxley is the dad of Molly’s Mini Bernedoodle litter, and while Gracie won’t have Mini Bernedoodles, her puppies will be a true Medium Bernedoodle size. We are expecting mostly variations of brown puppies and can’t wait to meet her new brood! We have one family on Gracie’s waitlist already so don’t wait if you’re wanting to bring home one of her puppies.

To get on the waitlist simply apply HERE and you will hear from us with next steps!

Millie’s Autumn Harvest Litter Update

Last but not least, Millie’s litter update! Millie’s puppies are doing so well, they are absolutely thriving and Millie is being just the very best mom. She’s attentive, produces a ton of milk, and loves snuggling and spending time with them. Her whelping box and puppies are always spotless and she’s happy to spend time with us as well while her puppies are sleeping. We just passed the 2 week mark, eyes are starting to open and more movement is happening day by day. Pretty soon they will be running circles around us! We have one family firmly on her waitlist and will be doing puppy picks around 4 weeks old. To get on her waitlist simply apply on our website or reach out to desertridgedoodles@gmail.com for next steps.

As always, thank you so much for sticking through to the end of our blog post. I love sharing updates like these when I can, and it makes me so excited to see the future of our program!
