June 27th Weekly Update
Happy Friday everyone! Lots to report on this week! Let’s get into it -
Our sweet girl Molly is about to pop! She’s due on July 1st and we are anxiously awaiting her puppies. She’s set to have a big litter and we are getting everything prepared for her delivery. Setting up her whelping box, getting her a nice cozy spot to get comfortable, and spoiling her rotten! It’s super important during this time leading up to birth to keep her calm, not jumping around, and getting rest. Which is a bit difficult because of how athletic she is! Molly would play fetch all day long if you let her. Needless to say, we’re keeping her on track and can’t wait to see what her babies look like. She was bred with a Mini Multigen Bernedoodle for Mini Bernedoodle puppies. Apply today if you’re interested in bringing one of her puppies home in September!
Next order of business, updated puppy photos! Stella’s litter got beautiful updated photos this week and Gracie’s puppies will be photographed today. I’ll leave some of my favorites below!
Willow’s litter of Pontoon & Jet Ski are doing amazing too! We’re getting into more frequent grooming so they are 100% prepared for when they head home. They are running around, playing, and learning new things daily. This is one of my favorite parts of puppyhood!
And last but not least, we got a huge surprise this week when we realized Maple went into heat! I can’t believe we are already there and preparing for another litter. Maple’s last litter was with our sire Nash, and she had 3 gorgeous puppies. We are hoping for another successful litter and healthy babies. Now we begin the process of prenatal care, progesterone testing to help time our breeding, and waiting through the first 30 days for our ultrasound! This should be another wonderful pairing and we may retain one puppy for our program!
And for us, we are getting out once a week to ride our 4-wheelers and enjoy the sunshine! It’s hot, but we’re making the most of it while also being present for our dogs. We have a very busy few months ahead of us but I’m so excited to meet all our wonderful families that end up taking our puppies home.
